| Roger, Jane, Paula, and
I just spent 4 days in D.C. at a reunion training seminar. We
learned quite a bit about getting around the entire area. Please
let me reiterate. DO NOT plan to drive downtown. The metro is close
to the hotel and reasonably Priced. The use of the Metro and it’s
relation to historic sites will be covered. During the orientation
at the Friday morning breakfast. There are many sites that The
metro is appropriate transportation for. |

Part of our itinerary at the ConFam was to visit Historic sites.
During these tours We discovered that the walk from the Metro
station to some places of interest was too far for us. I realized
that a large part of being at a reunion is the camaraderie. We all
enjoy from traveling together to various places. Be prepared to get
emotional at some of the places on the list below. They are the
history of our lives and our nation. |

A new idea for fundraising for the Kitty this year. What if we
all brought an item Unique to our state to be sold at a silent
auction with proceeds going to the Mills Kitty to
help defray expenses? Nothing too expensive, only it should be
related to your home {or Adopted} state. |
|
|
|
The total cost of all activities for this years reunion including
welcome party, meals Registration and the bus tour is only $88.00
per person. |
